OxyMon MkIII – Laser-based NIRS system

OxyMon: Multi-Channel continuous-wave NIRS-device for tissue oxygenation measurements (for cognitive experiments in neuroscience and psychology, brain mapping, sports science)

OxyMon MkIII: Optical Imaging made easy and affordable

The OxyMon is our high-end NIRS-equipment. It can be scaled to your needs, from 1 to 112 truly available channels. Using Laser technology and high-quality diodes and fibers, it provides the best signal to noise ratio possible.

Key features:

  • Measures oxy-, deoxy- and total hemoglobin concentration changes as well as local tissue saturation index (optional)
  • Transmitters: temperature-stabilized pulsed laser sources (up to 4 wavelengths per channel)
  • Receivers: temperature-stabilized and cooled avalanche photo diodes with ambient light protection.
  • Fast data collection at 50 Hz as standard - up to 250 Hz
  • Superior analysis software, Oxysoft
  • Options for simultaneous external data collection and synchronization
  • MR- and TMS-compatible fibers available
  • NIRS + EEG : see here
