Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS)

Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS) can be achieved with:

  • a magnetic field (rTMS, repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) – MagPro Systems.
  • an electrical field (tCS : tDCS, transcranial Direct Current Stimulation / tACS, transcranial Alternative Current Stimulation / tRNS, transcranial Random Noise Stimulation) – StarStim systems.

A MST (Magnetic Seizure Therapy) system will be added in the near future to the product portfolio of Neurolite. With less side effects, it offers an alternative to ECT (electroconvulsive therapy). The MagPro XP for MST is already available for research purposes.
 
These technics are especially used in interventional psychiatry, a field in which Neurolite is committed since its beginning and where it wants to continuously offer the best technologies and support.
