Stimulation corticale non-invasive (NIBS)

La stimulation corticale non-invasive (NIBS, Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation) peut s’obtenir de deux manières : 

  • par champ magnétique (rTMS, repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) – Systèmes MagPro.
  • par champ électrique (tCS : tDCS, transcranial Direct Current Stimulation, stimulation transcrânienne à courant direct / tACS, transcranial Alternative Current Stimulation, stimulation transcrânienne à courtant alternatif / tRNS, transcranial Random Noise Stimulation) – Systèmes StarStim.

Un système de MST (Magnetic Seizure Therapy) viendra à moyen terme s’ajouter au catalogue de Neurolite. Il devrait offrir une alternative à l’ECT (Electroconvulsivothérapie ou, anciennement, sismothérapie) en offrant moins d’effets secondaires. Le MagPro XP pour la MST est déjà disponible à fins de recherches.

 
Ces techniques sont particulièrement utilisées en psychiatrie interventionnelle, domaine dans lequel Neurolite s’est engagé depuis ses débuts et où il veut continuer d’offrir le  meilleur de la technologie et du support.
