The Portalite MKII can be used to measure oxygenation in the frontal regions of the brain and/or in muscle non-invasively using Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS). The flexible sensors optimally fit onto curved areas, such as the head or rounded muscles. Two sensors can be used at the same time with a single unit to record contralateral data for more informative results. It is highly portable and light, easy to use in lab or outdoor conditions. Useful in a wide range of applications: e.g. sports science, rehabilitation, clinical and functional studies and so on.
