The Brite is one of the best and most advanced wireless wearable multi-channel fNIRS device on the market. The Brite family offers different devices to provide greater flexibility and accuracy to fit your research purpose. Here’s the different possibilities:
Brite & Brite Dual & Brite Lite
Any cortical brain region can be targeted with these systems. The number of channels with the standard configuration goes up to 27 channels. In the Dual configuration, you can reach 54 channels. Both systems offer a great choice of optode configurations and inter-optode distances, as well as light weight and wearability, and possibility to integrate the short separation channels for noise filtering.
If instead, your project requires less channels, then the Brite Lite is ideal: including the short separation channels, this system reaches up to 10 channels, to be placed exactly where you need.
Brite Frontal & Brite Frontal Lite
The power of the Brite system is in this configuration concentrated on the frontal area of the brain. The Brite Frontal hosts its optodes on a headband positioned on the prefrontal cortex and designed for ease of use and optimal performance. The number of available channels is 24.
Also in this case, a version with fewer channels is available: the Brite Frontal Lite. This system reaches 8 channels to be placed on the specific headband designed for it.
MediBrite
The MediBrite is the first portable European CE-marked NIRS device according to MDR regulations. It is the perfect fit for clinical research. The MediBrite acquires Infrared absorption changes from up to 27 channels, which can be used to measure local brain activity using fNIRS. Due to its portability and lightweight, it can comfortably be used in various applications and settings, even during movements. It is available in two variants and hence can be used in a huge range of patients of all ages.
