Course introduction
This lecture will consider how the clinical neurophysiology study supplements the clinical history and examination of a motor neuron disease patient. The various components of the electrodiagnostic study will be reviewed to appreciate the pathophysiology of motor neuron disease. Techniques for improving diagnostic yield will be discussed. The last portion will consider newer techniques in monitoring motor neuron disease.
